Geological Event Planning/Coverage

We can be co-opted or enlisted into the planning of geology events such as seminars, trainings, field trips, conferences and geo-tourism.

Seminars

Our management will not only initiate early planning but wide outreach to the concerned audience through adverts in our quarterly publication, website and social media platforms to boost participation and visibility. Providing coverage through video, audio and branding is an added advantage.

Field Trips

Our familiarity with Nigeria’s geological terrain gives us several miles ahead of others. To ensure a hitch-free trip, we can plan security and field trips for exploration, research and sight-seeing expeditions.

Geo-tourism

Being one of the ‘core’ areas of our enterprise, we can assist in planning and execution of visits to any geo-tourist site of interest within Nigeria. This is possible individually or as a party. The planning, logistics, security, refreshment (including the review of the geologic history of such destinations) is ours to worry about.

Some geo-sites across the country include those within the North-east, such as the Adamawa Highlands, Columnar Basalts of Ngurore (Adamawa State), Wikki Warm Springs (Bauchi State), Gembu ‘montane’ vegetation and sapphire mining fields (Taraba State), Sand Dunes (Yobe State) etc.

Such attractions in the North-central include the Salt brines of Akiri (Nasarawa State), Coal fields of Okaba (Kogi State), Farin Ruwa Waterfalls (Nasarawa State), Gurara Waterfalls (Niger State), Zuma Rock (Niger State), Wase Rock (Plateau State), Zurak galena/Sphalerite mining fields (Plateau), Volcanic Hills (Jos Plateau) etc.

In the South-west, the Erin Ijesha Waterfall (Osun State), Idanre Hills (Ondo State), Ikogosi Warm springs (Ekiti State), Olosunta/Olumo Rocks (Abeokuta) etc, are some of the attractions.

In South-eastern Nigeria, the Ogbunike Caves, Okposi Salt Lake, Awhum Waterfall, Ogba Ukwu Cave, Igbo Ukwu landscape etc are some of the geo-tourists’ attractions.

Further South, we have the Obudu Mountain Range, Mfamosin Limestone and others.
