1.Ampidong Crater Lake – Plateau State
Ampidong is located in Ampidong West, Mangu Local Government Area about 98km from Jos city center. Amipidong is a cluster of water formed as a result of a volcanic eruption so many years ago. The crater is approximately about 12kilometers deep with a circumference of about 500meters. There are about 200 same Crater Lake in the entire world with Ampidong as the only one in the entire West African sub region making it a tourist attraction.

15. Yankari Warm Spring – Bauchi State
Yankari warm spring also known as ” wikki warm spring”is a geologic spring with crystal clear water located in Yankari national park Bauchi state. This warm spring is the biggest of the four springs situated in Yankari national park. It has a constant temperature of 31 degree centigrade. It is 1.9 meters deep, 13 meters wide and 200 meters long.
